Moody Monday: Video Games and Family
Is it strange that I am a female who likes video games? I get sucked into them and can play for HOURS, it’s crazy! Hubs and I are both currently loving the game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Yep, I’m a geek! I love magic and folk lore and wizards and the occasional slaying of a zombie! I will admit it, I haven’t been keeping up with the posting on the log because I have been sucked into this game, so I decided to write about it for Moody Monday. Currently, hubs is playing the game, unfortunately we can’t play together, like we could on Final Fantasy XI so I get to watch him play….how fun. Yea, FFXI was the other game that I got sucked in to. I don’t play video games, for the most part, but there are a select few that really catch my attention and draw me in, those two are it so far.
As far as me not working outside of the home anymore; I am really loving it….by the way, I totally just switched subjects, in case you were confused there. That is what Moody Monday is all about, letting it out and talking about life. Anyway, yea, I enjoy being home with the kids. My daughter (19m) and I got to play ball yesterday, she’s got a pretty good arm on her tiny body. I had a lot of fun rolling that ball back and forth, it is something I missed out on while working for someone else. I don’t want to miss anything, EVER. She is FINALLY getting steady on her feet and it makes me smile every time I see her cross the living room on those little wobbly legs of hers.
I also got to cut my son’s (3 years) hair today, it’s been about 6 months since I had the time to do it (oddly enough, 6 months ago is when I started working outside of the home) and he sat there and played with the falling hair, like it was snowflakes…minus the sticking out of the tongue, thank goodness! “My hair fawlin down!” he thought it was so funny, I just soaked it up.
I was a stay-at-home mom for 6 years, and I NEEDED a change, I wanted to go to work. I’m glad that I did, because it made me see how much better life is when I get to be home. I love blogging and I love my family, why would I have it any other way?
