A place to call home
A lot has happened since I last blogged. I moved from NY to Michigan and was diagnosed with Elhers-Danlos Syndrome: Type 3. Our move allowed us to have more space, and more freedoms. Our kids went to a Montessori school for two years, but with the COVID-19 outbreak, all kids became homeschoolers, so we’re doing the homeschool/unschool thing again and just trying to live life and thrive.
Our garden this year, is the biggest ever and I am really excited for it all to begin….right after this cold snap goes away. It’s May, why do I have to wear layers?!
Another change for me is doing my part to help the community, because I finally feel like I can call a place home, and I want to do my part to keep my city amazing. I’ve installed a Little Free Library, as well as a Little Free Pantry, in my front yard, and have purchased the materials to install a raised garden bed around the pantry. I want people to be able to pick some fresh veges and a new book, on their walk home from the park.
My life has entirely changed in the past two years, but overall, I feel that it has been for the better. I’m at a point in life where I am able to get back to blogging, so this is where I begin again. Over the next two months, I’ll be revamping and updating the site and I plan to hire a designer to give me a fresh new look.
I look forward to telling you all about my new life. Stick around, there’s more to come!
